I joined SISSA in 2022 as a master's student in Cognitive Neuroscience and am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in the Visual Neuroscience Lab under the supervision of Prof. Davide Zoccolan. My research focuses on understanding how the mammalian visual system can discern statistical regularities in the environment to efficiently code sensory input. I am also quite intrigued by the research field of inductive reasoning, especially in relation to reasoning fallacies, although this aspect is not the focus of my current research activities.
