Aybüke Durmaz

I joined the SISSA PhD program in Cognitive Neuroscience in 2021. Currently I am working on “human perceptual decision making of nonequilibrium fluctuations” under supervision of Domenica Bueti, and co-supervision by Mathew Diamond. I am interested in understanding the adaptation of decision parameters to the stochastic sensory signal in stimuli to make optimal decisions.

Marlen Gironimi

 I'm a PhD student, working on a project investigating the relationship between attentional functions and tactile perception, under the supervision of Mathew Diamond. However, I joined SISSA in 2021 as a master student.

Sara Varetti

I joined Sissa in 2022 and I am a second year PhD studentin the Cognitive Neuroscience group. My work focuses on the learning dynamics of neural networks with biological plausibile learning algorithms, and their application to neural population codes.
