Claudia Ruzza

Claudia joined SISSA as a PhD student in 2021 and is a member of the Language, Learning and Reading Lab leaded by Prof. Davide Crepaldi.

Her research focuses on the role of individual variability in written language processing. She is specifically interested in studying the way age and neurodevelopmental conditions may impact language processing skills. She uses a combination of behavioural and electrophysiological (EEG) measures to investigate implicit and explicit learning of letter co-occurrence regularities.

Prior to starting her PhD, she obtained a M.A. degree in Linguistics and Cognitive Sciences at the University of Siena.
